The Mayor's House

The original cottage dates back to 1740, making it one of the oldest structures in town. What used to be the quaint, country home of the Mayor of Little Washington has been artfully transformed into a romantic, private escape.

The two story cottage combines modern luxury with a sense of historic Americana. The private house has a formal sitting area with a gas fireplace, upstairs guest room with a half bath, and a main level master bedroom. The master features a king size bed and a massive fieldstone, wood burning fireplace. The bathroom is decorated in blue and white, hand-painted Portuguese tile and has a double vanity sink, jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

There is a private driveway as well as a private, walled garden-- perfect for afternoon tea or a small wedding ceremony.
