We ask that any dinner reservations be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
For a small selection of holidays – Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve and Day, Thanksgiving,– we have a 30-day cancellation policy. During these holidays, any reservation cancelled within this 14 day policy is subject to a cancellation fee of $75 per person. The holidays of Mother’s Day and Easter we have a 7 day cancellation policy. During these holidays, any reservation cancelled within this 30-day policy is subject to a cancellation fee of $75 per person. The Inn has no official dress code. We want all of our guests to be completely comfortable. About half of our gentlemen guests do wear sport jackets.
We are located in a very rural area of Virginia, and as beautiful as it is, we have very limited cell phone coverage within a 30 mile radius of The Inn. Unless you are with Sprint, you probably will not have a cell phone signal. However, we have phones and voicemail in all of our rooms and we can transfer any incoming calls to you or to the Front Desk. This limited coverage will also impact cellular based GPS systems.
