Just steps from the Main Building and in the center of the village is the Carter House, a cottage named after the family who originally occupied it, as is the local custom. The house is entered through a gated rose arbor that leads to a charming miniature garden. The façade of the house is decorated with faux woodblock work and coining designed by Wayne Good, a talented architect from Annapolis. The Carter House’s small front porch invites guests to sit in comfy wicker chairs and watch the world go by.
Inside the Carter House there is a public Living Room open to the guests of the building.
